Glasgow credit union is the one for me I’ve been with Glasgow credit union for 19 years .would not get a loan from any other provider they are the most convenient and it’s so easy to apply Reviewed on: 22nd May 2025

Best rate i could find

I borrowed money from the credit union. I was given a decision within a day or 2. The money was transferred quickly. I found the interest rate to be a lot less than mainstream banks. I liked that the credit union allowed me to borrow less than the minimum requirement of my other banks. I really liked that i could pay a little extra each month if i wanted too without being penalised. There was no issues and i would recommend this service to anyone as i believe the GCU are fair lenders with excellent policy. I managed to pay off my loan early due to the option of additional payments. Reviewed on: 14th May 2025

Excellent service... everytime

I have saved and borrowed with Glasgow Credit Union for a number of years now and everytime I always receive exceptional service. Money is deducted from my payroll which is super convenient and the app is also very good to use with easy access to your savings. Reviewed on: 25th July 2022

Efficient and quick

So easy to get a loan or access to your savings. Once loan is approved for an extra £2 the cash can be in your account the following day. Always excellent service. Reviewed on: 25th July 2022

Reliable and trustworthy!

From the minute I applied for the loan to the minute it was authorised and paid out, and even thereafter, there was always someone to chat on the telephone immediately regards my loan and/or savings. The phone handler has always been extremely knowledgeable and efficient. Just such an easy, stress-free experience from start to finish. Peace of mind throughout.
