Great Insurance so long as you don't need to make a claim!

Nearly all the reviews for this company are based on getting medical cover for existing illnesses. This company are great at doing that. Just don't make a claim! The company don't even answer the phone. My wife and I were stranded in Australia for 10 days after she was hospitalised with food poisoning. The insurers didn't want to know, rarely answered the phone, and didn't help once. I was left to arrange and pay for new flights, and extend my hotel stay, all at my own cost. They made a very stressful experience much worse. They paid my claim when we finally got home, but if you are expecting help from this company whist you are abroad you can forget it. I've taken the company to the insurance ombudsman, and am considering Court proceedings against them for breach of conract. I will never take a policy out with them again. Beware! As (very!) Senior Citizens we have been absolutely thrilled and constantly surprised at the service we have received over many years now from goodtogoinsurance.
