I used the link from Medical Travel Compared to Goodtogoinsurance - it was very easy to complete the required questions and when my quote came through I was very pleasantly surprised. I fell ill in Spain with double pneumonia.

I fell ill in Spain with double pneumonia; I only had Gold cover but paid about €4K on my credit card although I was told it would be €1K per day - I stayed in for ten days - and that was it!
