Lots of Hidden Charges which they will not say

I strongly advise against using this insurance company. I purchased a policy and paid a deposit for monthly insurance. However, I had to cancel the policy within 27 days, and they charged me an extra £313.46. I had a terrible experience and spent a lot of time trying to reach them, but they refused to help. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend this company to anyone. Reviewed on: 1st September 2023

Use somone else

Do not use, I paid each month cancelled my insurance had zero contract from them and got contacted by ICB for a cancellation fee. Will never use again or recommend to anyone. Never had accident so never used them anyway. Reviewed on: 20th October 2023

AVOID like the plague.. They cancelled my policy due to their error and want £200 for the pleasure!

One star is too many stars!!! Go Skippy cancelled my brand new policy due to a breakdown in communication their end over some requested documents (I had actually sent them over 3/4 times!). Lots of back and forth including phone calls to achieve nothing. Was at work and they cancelled my policy and took £60 out of my account (no idea what this was even for) had an email 10 days later stating I owe them £140 and the reason was ".".. Someone forgot to fill in their copy and paste template email!!! So I was left uninsured with a bill of £200 for WHAT I just don't know.. BUT AVOID AVOID AVOID Like the plague, there are plenty of other reputable companies around who are just as cheap- don't fall for it like I did, you will regret it!! Reviewed on: 4th October 2023

Avoid avoid

Absolute rip offs bought new car after 1 month cancelled insurance as they wer double the cost than everone eles then had to pay 680 pounds cancellation fee BEWARE,!!! Reviewed on: 30th September 2023

The worst insurance company I have ever dealt with.

They refused to accept that I had sold my car. They needed a letter headed document from a private seller as proof. Proof of sale and proof of conversations were not acceptable. They threatened to take me to court numerous times and left me feeling harrased and scared. Even after they accepted they was at fault and they should of handled things better I still got threats of court and debt collection agencies. Once they then accepted that I had sold the car nearly 4 months prior, I was told I will not get a refund on my insurance. THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAM ARTISTS. Scammers

Everything was good for one month, I then added a extra driver which they accepted and they took all my card details they emailed me my new policy. Then had a text on a Saturday (so could not contact them all weekend) saying they had cancelled my insurance because the call I made to them ended before they had processed the payment and they had tried to call me back but went to answer phone. I had to call Monday morning 9am spoke to someone 10:15am ..Goskippy say there is nothing they can do because the policy is cancelled and they will be charging me a cancellation fee and some other fees. AWFULL, NOT EVEN ONE STAR

I recently joined GoSkippy, after getting a quote that seemed just fine. However, after I paid the quote, I was hit with a lot of hidden fees and charges. They also asked me for documents that they didn't ask for at the beginning (and confirmed we wouldn't need), which made the process very frustrating. I tried to contact customer service, but I couldn't get through to anyone. I'm very disappointed with this company and I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE. ON TOP OF THAT CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AWFUL. Avoid at all cost.

Trying to contact this company is not a pleasant experience, often they will answer the call and hang up immediately, or someone will answer and rudely state that they’re busy and to call back later. I genuinely dread to think how tedious it would be if I actually had to make a claim on my insurance. There are plenty of insurance companies out there, don’t give your money to a company that can’t even be bothered to offer a competent level of customer service. Reviewed on: 29th August 2023

Horrible .

This company requested for some documents which I scanned to them. They never confirmed receipt rather threatened to cancel which they did with a charge. Now it’s hard to insure with other insurers given that my insurance has been cancelled. It’s sad. I strongly advise you avoid this trap of a company at all cost. Reviewed on: 27th August 2023
