Fantastic Help to Rectify a Problem

Because my grandson had two regular savers, his were treated differently to those held by my other three younger grandchildren who had only one each. The rules changed, allowing only one to be help by each child. This caused a lot of confusion but the manager at the Burgess Hill branch (not my local one but I was visiting my son at the time the problem occurred) was fantastic. She resolved the problem in the short term and arranged for a good will payment to be made into my grandson's account. The problem reoccurred close to his regular saver maturing and as I had all the contact details for the Burgess Hill manager, and she knew the case, I contacted her about it. Her staff, in her absence, knew all about what was happening as they had been tracking my grandson's account on my behalf. The problem was dealt with, eventually via head office and the really helpful staff at my local branch in Brentwood. There have been lots of changes in processes at the Halifax which have been confusing for customers and staff but I was deeply impressed with the help I received to overcome a problem caused by these changes. Great customer service

Save With The Best

I have had a totally positive experience with The Halifax Bank, whether instore or online. Always welcoming, helpful, easy to navigate & use, it’s a pleasure to be a member. They also have competitions for account holders each month and they always offer & thoroughly explain any new accounts/offers/updates so I can make a knowledgeable decision. Everyday Savers Account

I LOVE my savers account with Halifax, it's so easy to manage through the app with my current account! I can withdraw easily without having to speak to anyone whenever I want, and transfer between my accounts! Love it ! Reviewed on: 3rd December 2018

I'm a long-standing customer for a reason!

I've banked with Halifax since childhood (back in the days when they gave out those little house-shaped money boxes...yep, showing my age!). Over the years, I've been impressed with the ease of service as well as the current online banking options. I'm so pleased they've also signed up to the 'Save the change' scheme. I've always had positive customer service communications both in-branch and by phone. I've only dropped a star for each rating for the way that the rewards offered for certain accounts keep reducing over time. I'm sure this is likely the case with other providers, however, I'd be interested to know whether there are more competitive rewards elsewhere. This would be the one consideration I'd mention to friends and family when they're making their banking choices. Reviewed on: 22nd November 2018
