Reward Current Account - useless reward tracker

The Reward Current Account pays a £5 a month reward for (amongst other requirements) make £500 of debit card payments each month, which is pretty decent. The app has a reward tracker so that you can keep track of progress. Except the tracker is absolutely useless. It is not updated in real time, or anything like it. Right now, on 1 May, it is showing progress only up to 21 April. The only option is to go through the tedious process of totting up the payments manually. It's been this way for months, if not years. Great for everything

We have all our accounts and insurance through Halifax. It's great being able to see everything online at the same time. The extras that you get with the reward account are so handy like the RAC/AA, phone insurance etc. Reviewed on: 12th February 2025

Own to issues immedcately

I have a Rewards account and this month, for some reason, the rewards did not register. I got through to customer services speedily who owned the issue immedictely (no gaslighting like other banks) and compensated me. Top class service Reviewed on: 2nd February 2025

Reward yourself with a cost effective current account!

An account with some great benefits such as multi - trip travel insurance, mobile phone and car breakdown insurance too - definitely a cost effective current account! If I had to buy all of the benefits separately it would cost me a fortune! Reviewed on: 10th October 2024

BEST BANK IN THE UK

An absolutely amazing bank couldn’t not do more for there’s customers. The staff are always friendly and always go above and beyond whenever you are in branch or on the phone I have banked with them for a little over 7 Years and have tried other banks along the way and not one of the other big banks in the UK compare to the amazing in store and online service you get from Halifax.
