Avoid these chancers

In short I run a BTL business which obviously has a mortgage liability but runs at a consistently high profit. Hanley rejected my application for a personal mortgage (so completely separate to my Ltd) because of the liability attached to my Ltd, but refused to consider the cash flow that the Ltd generates. They took so long to come to a decision that I am now unable to find an alternative lender and will have to stick with my current provider at a higher rate. This is really basic stuff - if they are getting it so wrong at this level I can only imagine how poorly run the rest of the business is. Avoid at all costs. Reviewed on: 21st June 2024

Wouldnt want to go anywhere else

Taking a mortgage out with The Hanley was so easy thanks to our Mortgage Advisor Jane Longmore. Jane explained everything really well and kept in contact to make sure everything was running smoothly even when the mortgage application process had moved on from Jane making both myself and my partner feel comfortable and confident in The Hanley. Thorough and Professional

I have applied for a Retirement Interest Only Mortgage. Anna Whitehead thoroughly went through all the details that were required in a very professional manner. It was carried out in a very courteous manner and it was a very pleasant experience. She answered all questioned that i raised and clarified everything i raised. Good service

After a few issues changing our mortgage to move house we did speak to the customer services team. Our issue was resolved very quickly and we were allocated Jame Longmore to sort our new mortgage. Jane went the extra mile to advise us on the best product. She kept us updated through the process and the mortgage part of our house move was completed very quickly.
