Great interest rate on a 1 yr fixed rate bond.

I saved in a 1 yr fixed rate bond and was very pleased with the interest guaranteed. One issue on maturity that I wasn’t written to and had to chase it 2 wks is after maturity. There seemed to be some error recorded and the office thought I took a 2 year deal but on assuring them I chose 1 year I was paid my funds the very same day with some additional interest for the extra 2 weeks. I was very satisfied the issue was resolved promptly once raised. Reviewed on: 6th February 2025

Very helpful branch staff.

The branch in Newcastle-under Lyme Is very well run with really helpful and knowledgeable staff. We had our mortgage with HEBS and now save with them. Rates have been so-so until fairly recently, when the Loyalty Saver became available, ISA rates also were better, so my wife and I are reasonably happy with them. Reviewed on: 6th February 2025
