The HSBC Kinetic Current Account is for business customers.

The account is for sole traders or single director shareholder businesses. There’s no monthly account fee and you get free UK digital banking. The HSBC Kinetic account also includes a monthly cashflow outlook and categorised spending tools.

Very basic capabilities

Opening the account should have been straightforward. The account was in Beta when we first applied and a process that should have taken 48-72 hours ended up taking weeks and me chasing. I should have taken this as a warning! The account is basic and functional but now they've introduced fees, there are definitely better out there. The capabilities of this account are really poor. You cannot link up a live feed to xero accounting software (Despite advertising otherwise) and so after months of being sent from one team to another, I'm still manually importing every single transaction and it is very tedious. The telephone CS don't have a clue what the kinetic account is and so you get sent through to the personal banking people. You are most definitely not treated as a business customer. Honestly - I'll be taking my money elsewhere and I would heed others to do the same. Reviewed on: 10th March 2022

I researched a lot of the available business accounts before finally choosing HSBC Kinetic. They make it incredibly easy to set up an account and offer a mobile banking application that is incredibly well designed and has a great user interface. Reviewed on: 10th March 2022

The HSBC Kintetic Business account is downloadable via the app. The application takes less than 5 min and a decision is given almost immediately. Once approved you are ready to go. Honestly the most simple application process I have gone through Reviewed on: 10th March 2022

I opened this bank account as small size business person. I felt that this account and application has been made for me by looking after me in different ways. Anything which I need help or to do, this application has an answer for that.
