Decent rates and not too hard to open & manage

Not too hard to open and manage an account, and competitive rates on offer. They could do more by email rather than mailing out reams of paper...

Appalling complaint resolutionI

Appalling complaint resolution I made a complaint 24/01/25 which was acknowledged by letter of 31/01/25 (letter arrived 11/02/25). They said if they wanted more information... Appalling complaint resolution I made a complaint 24/01/25 which was acknowledged by letter of 31/01/25 (letter arrived 11/02/25). They said if they wanted more information they would contact me within four weeks, however they gave themselves eight weeks to give me a response. I have phoned but their customer service says it absolutely does nothing with complaints (?) I have to wait it out for a response. There is an email address given for 'if I need assistance'. I think the response time they give themselves is disgusting. I've had the account less then a year, this is my second complaint (received £50 for the first). I had an issue with another bank last week and they resolved it within 5 days. I'm thinking of closing this account. Absolutely would not recommend them. Luckily we have branch I our town. The meeting with the team was swft and very informative. All documents co pleted easily in branch and switch took place in o ly a fee days,after the maturity date from TSB. Also use the online tool which is simple to find your accounts.     Abysmal customer services.

    Abysmal customer services. Don't respond to emails. They agree to ring back but don't. secure messages unanswered. Worse customer services I have ever experienced.

    Reduce by more than BOE rate cuts

    Rates initially good. Then they start reducing by more than BOE cuts. Difficult to close account. Poor customer service. Will not use again.

    Customer Service Beyond Bad

    Great interest rates, but the telephone customer service is beyond bad, providing misleading nformation which contradicts the information on the website.

    Good sensible Building Society.

    Have held accounts with KR for several years. . They are easy to operate online. . The savings rates are usually there or thereabouts with the ever changing best buys tables.
