Quick and friendly claims process from Laka

I’ve been paying for the insurance for awhile and didn’t think I was likely to need to get in touch with the support team, considering I had never had a stolen bike. However, I had a nightmare situation when my bike was stolen the day before a house move. When I got in touch with the claims team, they very quickly started the process rolling and got my bike replaced in under two weeks. Reviewed on: 16th September 2025

Extremely transparent and easy to use

Luckily, I did not have to make any claims yet. However, the ease of use is astonishing. I went on international trip on my bicycle and just turned on the add-on for the worldwide cover. Once, I was back home I just disabled it and my payment is back to were it was before the add-on was enabled. Reviewed on: 16th September 2025

it genuinely feels like specialist insurance run by enthusiasts. I like that I get a breakdown of the fee, the number of payouts and visibility of where the moneys going.
