I was so happy to discover Laka. I feel like a part of comunity and not just a of a big company (like I usually do with insurance). The staff if friendly and helpful and you are not tied in to a contract. I love it. I love getting my updates and am never worried re fees as they are reasonable. Great company!! Great service with a great community

I had an accident last year on my bike with a vehicle which is never pleasant and extremely stressful. Dealing with Laka during that period was easy, fast, efficient and friendly. Everything was super fast and made really clear, with advice given to me for next steps and what I should do and how to look after myself. The articles and news updates via email are insightful, relevant and actually informative with content that want to read and like to know about. Great company, incredible ethos.

I’ve been with Laka for around a year, and shortly after having taken out insurance with them I needed to claim. It couldn’t have been easier, the staff were helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. I had the money in my account before the repairer had even invoiced the work. It was only a minor claim and a small amount of damage, but it was reassuring to know that they are there should I need to claim in the future. Reviewed on: 18th September 2020

100% trust and peace of mind

I’ve been with Laka for 3 years now after a Bikmo refused to insure me following 2 claims. Cycling is a dangerous sport especially if you’re racing, so to have a cycling insurer refuse to insure me I was lost as to what I could do. That’s where Laka stepped in. The unique way in which they work, using a cycling community to cover all accidents, including racing, means that they were more than happy to take me on and I now have 100% trust and peace of mind that should I have an accident, Laka will be there to support me.
