Laka has super clear and concise messaging, you know what you're getting and the breakdown of what you're actually paying for. It's simple to get set up, I feel like I'm in good hands. They also offer some pretty good partnership discounts that are relatable to their brand. Overall everything has been seamless and I'm a satisfied customer! Reviewed on: 1st August 2025

It has been so amazing. I've had many bikes stolen in London and since Laka I feel much more secure taking my bike out. The staff are all excellent and friendly helping in a situation where you feel frustrated and upset. Really I can't recommend it more highly. Reviewed on: 1st August 2025

Great website. Easy to set up cover, business model depends on all claims for that month which seems fairer than other insurers. Not super proscriptive and trying to catch customers out either. Absolute no brainer if your bike is central to getting around in a big city. Reviewed on: 1st August 2025

Laka have been great since day 1. I even had to claim very early on and the process was so smooth. Laka are easy to communicate with, and it's really simple to add items, amend and pause cover. I've been using Laka for over a year now, and I genuinely couldn’t be happier with the service. What sets them apart is their unique community-driven model – instead of paying a fixed premium, you only pay a share of the actual claims made that month. That means when claims are low, I save money. But when something does go wrong, Laka really steps up. I had a claim after my bike was damaged during a crash, and the whole process was surprisingly fast and stress-free. No long forms, no endless calls – just a simple, honest process with great communication throughout. They even covered my accessories and clothing, which many insurers overlook. Customer service is top-notch, with real people who are friendly, knowledgeable, and actually care about cyclists. Their app and online portal are super easy to use too. If you're serious about cycling and want fair, flexible, and cyclist-focused coverage, I can’t recommend Laka enough. It’s insurance that actually works for riders – not against them. Laka are incredible. Fair (even cheap!) pricing, a seamless claim experience - which when it comes to insurance, is what really counts! - and you just feel like they 'get' you as a cyclist. Can't fault them. So much better than any 'add on' to home insurance etc. Reviewed on: 1st August 2025
