Savings is secure , when you save money on your card...

Savings is secure , when you save money on your card and still you can transfer money and use it . However , when you save money using Leek Building Society you cannot transfer or withdraw instance unless you use their branch on opening hours . I love Leek Building Society . An experience which exceeded all my expectations

Last week, with very little time to invest in a 2024/25 cash ISA, I rang the local (Newcastle under Lyme) branch of Leek building society as they had a product with a very competitive interest rate and terms. The gentleman who answered the phone couldn't have been more helpful and within the hour I was in the branch to open an account. (I had previously been a member but not recently). The branch was bright and welcoming, the staff were friendly and efficient dealing with all the other customers (while I sat and filled in my application forms) and the lady was similarly helpful and efficient in dealing with me. I was able to make my deposit by cheque and was assured that I would be able to meet the 2024/25 deadline. The service and all round experience that morning far surpassed postal and on line VB methods and I have resolved to move more if my savings to the Leek society in future. In a word : "excellent" ! In my experience it's the best savings bank we have.

When we opened our savings account we couldn't have been treated any better, also if either of us goes in to draw any money from our savings we never have to wait for ages, we are seen to in a matter of minutes. Reviewed on: 8th April 2025
