Fabulous service from St Edward Street Branch

I opened my 2nd savings account with Leek United yesterday and the service was second to none. The transaction was seamless and I would not hesitate in recommending them to friends and family. Reviewed on: 1st July 2022

Having identified Leek some years ago and reviewed their history. We moved our savings, ISAs over time to Leek.Now after several reviews and attending their AGMs we are more than pleased with all aspects of Leek Biulding Society. Local Banks are closing so invest locally

Not the top savings rates in the country, but it is local, accessible and has a pleasant and welcoming building and lovely, helpful staff. With all of our bank closures it's nice to have the confidence that it will be there in the future for the people of Leek. Reviewed on: 19th January 2026

ISA Transfer Resolvement.

I transferred my Isa to Leek from another provider and the payment was made by cheque by the the other provider and was incorrectly signed and the payment failed but Leek were instrumental in getting a new cheque correctly signed and now everything is fine. Reviewed on: 19th January 2026

Great Building Society

Courteous ans efficient branch staff always helpful and well informed.. the online experience which I now use since moving away from Uttoxeter is excellent and easy to use. I find the interest rates offered are competitive and so I have been a customer for over 20 years. Reviewed on: 19th January 2026
