Stressful ,Missed their own KPI, Rude

If I could give 0, I would , shocking long wait anytime I called ,staff communication with each other very poor ,worse with customer .I decided in the end not to proceed with making a small but very genuine claim as they make it nearly impossible to proceed .I have several different policies over last 15 years without ever making a claim with L and G ,will never re new again , disgusted !Daniel Chambers Reviewed on: 6th June 2018

Not worth paper written on

Can’t get on your policy even though you set up account you can not access your policy when you ring up after break in of shed just after having your van broken in to and loads of tools stolen no you can’t claim . Waste of time having insurance with them agent say you should have bike cover and tool cover separate we’re do you cross line on content as when you insure you tell the your self employed this is just like ppe it’s no good if your self employed but they like taking your money will check all small print next time no renewal with you thank allot Reviewed on: 31st May 2018

Untrustworthy

Even after months of communication they will not provide a breakdown of how they have arrived at their quote which is half the cost of the job required. Complete waste of time. Reviewed on: 13th January 2018

Changed policy cover without bothering to tell me

I took out home insurance with Legal & General in January 2017. I received no communication from them until a renewal e-mail arrived in December. When I took the trouble to look through the renewal documents, I noticed they didn't cover my wife's engagement ring, which had been a separately-listed high value item for which I'd paid a premium. When I called to clarify, they told me they had stopped covering this in June, and had sent me a message to my online account to tell me this. I received no notification of this message, no letter, no e-mail, and no phone call. Unless you want to have to log in and check your secure online messages every few months to make sure Legal and General haven't changed your cover without telling you, do not use them for insurance. I also echo the comments about extremely long wait times to talk to them on the phone. Reviewed on: 21st December 2017

Can't be beaten on price!

Used them for about a decade
