You have to pay your first deposit of £20 minimum to your London Capital Credit Union savings account before any loan funds can be paid to you. You can borrow between £200 and £30,000 (£40,000 if you’re a homeowner).

The best credit union

I started using London capital credit union 2-3 years ago saving and borrowing when needed and it’s saved me so many times. I’ll forget I have money saved there as it’s taken from my child benefit before the rest hits my bank. I’m able to save and borrow responsibly which saves me so much stress and help me stay out of much more debt. Reviewed on: 28th April 2026
