Reply from London Capital Credit Union Hi Harriet, Thank you for your feedback. We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused. As we are not a bank, we must go through a process in which the Co-op Bank is responsible for distributing the funds to the member's nominated bank account. Additionally, please note that any withdrawal requests made after 3 PM on a working day will be processed and sent out to the member by 5 PM on the next working day. We hope this information clarifies the withdrawal process. Response date: 14th July 2025

Neutral experience.

Neutral experience. Average for credit union. Feel they could have helped me more than did when I was experiencing financial difficultes. My bank was more helpful. I guess they can afford to take more risks with lending than small mutual society. I have been with my bank for about 40 yrs. I have been with credit union for probably 20 yrs. I think bank has more substantial history of my lending and borrowing and are in better position to assess my borrowing risks because of this. Reviewed on: 26th June 2025

Poor interest rates, entered into salary deduction scheme but not informed that my deductions won't go into my savings account for a month so no access to money till a month later! Understand this is an issue between LCCU and my employer but this info needs to be made clear by both organisations. Fairly decent customer service but still don't respond very quickly to queries Reviewed on: 30th May 2025
