Keep away, there are better and more credible insurance companies to go for in the market. 2.5 months ago my phone fell and the screen broke down. They replaced the screen but created a problem in the operation of the touch screen. I have sent the phone 3 times back to them and they still haven't fixed it properly. The last time I sent it they told me they would replace it but again they didn't. The policy clearly states that if they cannot fix the phone they will offer a replacament. Apparently they never do and keep doing circles without result.

I had a new contract for 2 brand new phones. I started the process of getting the new mobiles covered yesterday morning 8th Jan 2018 emailing loveit coverit an enquiry. After much emails going back and forth throughout the day, there was still no cover by the end of business. on the 8th of Jan. I eventually went with another company this morning - all done multi gadgets within less than 15 minutes! I informed loveit coverit I now had cover with a new insurer. Then about 5 hours later I get a question from their sales person asking a question as to whether the phones were refurbished etc when I had already stated they were brand new! I had to inform her that I had cancelled the policy earlier that morning, cancelled the DD with loveit coverit and my account with them was closed! God it made my eyes water! Nothing wrong with their cover but the people handling the sales need to get a grip!

Best value iphone insurance

I never really wanted phone insurance as it's rarely worth it, but I forked out for a brand new iphone SE earlier this year and wanted some protection. I pay just £ a month and my excess is only £25.

I submitted my claim for an iPhone 5s on 2nd December. It took a full week for the claim to be accepted, and I was only notified of this after chasing multiple times. I then sent my phone by special delivery on Monday 12th December; it arrived on Tuesday 13th but I received no notification from Loveitcoverit of receipt (I had to check with Royal Mail) despite again asking several times.

I was informed by a customer service representative before making the claim that I would receive a replacement phone within 3-5 working days of receipt. The website states the standard service is 48 hours.

I have only today received any compensation for my phone - 38 DAYS after submitting my claim.

The customer service was consistently terrible throughout– I received extremely delayed responses via email, and had to continuously chase for any updates. The cheque they said was sent never arrived, and at points I was openly lied to - a customer service representative told me the BACS transfer (which I had to request in place of the missing cheque and was never informed at the beginning was an option) would be carried out on Tuesday 3rd January, I asked for confirmation and he eventually replied over a day later (after 2 emails from me chasing) saying it would actually be done on the 5th.

After I asked regarding the process to make an official complaint, I was completely ignored.

I have now cancelled my insurance with loveitcover it and warned friends and family to stay away. I would recommend that no-one ever uses this company unless they are happy to go over a month without a phone, and be prepared to constantly chase to hear anything from their appalling customer service team.
