Competitive prices and helpful when needed

We were already covered for car insurance with LV and their renewal had increased even though there had been no claims during the year. We compared prices and got back to LV who agreed to drop renewal price, and we therefore purchased. Why does insurance companies not offer their lowest price upfront, rather than charging as much as they think they can get away with. There is no loyalty to existing customers. However, if fairness, we did have a claim the following year, not our fault, and LV couldn't have been more helpful. Have therefore awarded good marks for this insurer. Reviewed on: 10th March 2016

Always very competitive price but I would recommend not simply accepting the annual renewal quote - check online at their website - I did and saved £30 this year Reviewed on: 26th February 2016

Excellent experience when having to claim

When someone wrote my car off, LV couldn't have been better - knowledgeable, approachable staff, settled the claim fairly and quickly, and explaining every point I asked about. I had no idea what the process was, but the staff were so helpful. Reviewed on: 24th December 2015

Very helpful and considerate customer services, easy to swap over insurance

When I had to change my car insurance over to my new car it took less than 10 minutes from the point of me dialling to having it changed over, The person was very helpful and efficient and wanted to know if there was anything else he could help with. Good prices and good customer service.

LV car insurance was very well priced compared to other companies quoting for the sames vehicle. When I had to make a no fault claim they dealt with everything quickly and efficiently, arranging for repairs to be carried out, excess to be recovered from the third party and ensuring I always had a vehicle when I was without mine. A great insurer

Have used LV for a few years now for my car insurance. Their quotes are always competitive and extremely well-priced and their service is friendly and helpful. Would thoroughly recommend them. Also took out home insurance with them too! Reviewed on: 6th November 2015
