Manchester Credit Union loans are available for up to £15,000. Members can clear the balance of a loan at any time and won’t be charged any early settlement fees.

A brilliant website that supports a clear and extremely helpful financial service

I have been a member of Manchester Credit Union since 2011. I have had a loan with them that was affordable and the repayment was easier than any other loan repayment I have experienced. The website is clear, easy to navigate, holds all necessary relevant detail for any action I require within my account. The recent addition of the Xmas Saver account option is in my opinion an outstanding benefit. I find the staff at Manchester Credit Union very helpful. I am indeed a very satisfied customer. Every little helps.

I have been with MCU for years and as a single mum with a very bad credit rate, I never dreamed to get a loan anywhere. Manchester Credit Union offered me a Family Loan of £500 and I can always top up on my loan after paying back £200. They take their payments out of my Child benefit payments, put me some money in my Share 1 Account and save a £1 in my Share 2 Account which they say you can't withdraw from if you are owing on the loan repayments but every time I find myself in a financial difficulty they give me some of the money kept in my Share 2 account with no questions asked. I'm very thankful for their impeccable Customer Service and how they go the extra mile to listen and help out. I don't know what I would have done over the last few years of being unemployed if I didn't have them to lean on whenever I need some money for bills or even just to get the children some Christmas presents. Thanks to MCU I never have to feel like an all around failure in front of my children, or go without gas and electricity in the home.
