A brilliant website that supports a clear and extremely helpful financial service

I have been a member of Manchester Credit Union since 2011. I have had a loan with them that was affordable and the repayment was easier than any other loan repayment I have experienced. The website is clear, easy to navigate, holds all necessary relevant detail for any action I require within my account. The recent addition of the Xmas Saver account option is in my opinion an outstanding benefit. I find the staff at Manchester Credit Union very helpful. I am indeed a very satisfied customer. A community working for the community.

I have always found the staff at MCU helpful friendly and supportive. I have a brain injury and they are patient with me as I can struggle speaking and understanding information given to me. They always make sure I’ve fully understand what we’ve discussed and explain what options are available for me. They give excellent advice on other services that are available for me and checked that I am claiming other benefits that someone with my health problems is entitled to. They helped with emergency payments when I’ve had no money for food. I think there absolutely wonderful. My illness prevents me from working at the moment and I get distressed at times because as a single parent it’s so difficult to make ends meet. But they are empathetic and supportive and I always feel better about myself after speaking with them. There peoples people and will always do their best to help. They make you feel that community spirit that has disappeared from so many other institutions like banks ! I give them 10 out of 10 and am ever so grateful for all the help and support they have given me. Thank you MCU. Reviewed on: 28th June 2025
