A brilliant website that supports a clear and extremely helpful financial service

I have been a member of Manchester Credit Union since 2011. I have had a loan with them that was affordable and the repayment was easier than any other loan repayment I have experienced. The website is clear, easy to navigate, holds all necessary relevant detail for any action I require within my account. The recent addition of the Xmas Saver account option is in my opinion an outstanding benefit. I find the staff at Manchester Credit Union very helpful. I am indeed a very satisfied customer. Help when needed most - Amazing Service

Absolutely amazing and much better value than my bank. I applied for a loan to consolidate multiple debts and I was accepted after being turned down by a bank. The application was really easy. I wasnt left waiting to hear back and everything was all discussed smoothly via email. My application was accepted and they even dealt with settling everything on my behalf. Family Loan

I currently have a family loan. Any queries are responded to within 24 hours which is really useful. My repayments come straight from my child benefit so I don’t need to worry about repayments which takes off a lot of stress. Part of my repayment then goes into a saving account which allows me to repay what I owe but also save at the same time. They also provide a top up service when you repay so much which is very handy to have and they have now made the process even easier meaning if you have repaid a certain amount you won’t need to wait for approvals so will get payment same day which has come in handy many of times in emergencies. MCU is the best

I was in need of consolidating multiple loans and credit cards as my monthly repayments were extremely high. Due to having too many loans I wasn't able to reach any consolidation loans at all. After searching on the internet for many days I've stumbled upon Manchester credit union pages. I thought to myself - it can't hurt to try and apply with them,.maybe they will be able to help me. I've applied and got my consolidation loan sorted within 5 days. My advisor was lady called Zatoon she is an absolute asset to MCU as all of their members are. The APR is amazing, my finances are sorted now and I don't have to live in permanent stress about finances. MCU saved my life - literally! Reviewed on: 23rd June 2025
