Got contents only home insurance.

Got contents only home insurance. Very comprehensive policy, easy to understand. Never needed to make a claim (thank goodness!) so no idea about performance with claims. Only negative was their renewal price was much higher with no option to negotiate so went elsewhere to renew Reviewed on: 1st October 2024

Good excess, helped when my phone was stolen

I had my phone stolen from my person two years ago when I was mugged. I rang my home insurance providers (Marks and Spencer) who were immediately very helpful and gave me an estimated time that it would take to either; 1. get a new phone or; 2. receive the money equivalent into my account. The staff were friendly and talked me through the procedures I would have to go through with the police/crime reference numbers etc., and overall it was a pleasant and very swift claim. Would most definitely recommend to family and friends. Reviewed on: 28th April 2015
