the alternative choice

not one of the big name high street lenders that usually consume the majority of application, mansfield stands waiting in the wings for the niche stuff that doesnt quite fit. Reviewed on: 27th January 2026

Mansfield experience

I have experience working with Mansfield Building Society mortgage cases, supporting advisers and clients through the full mortgage process. You have been sourcing very well, particularly for RIO products single applications. Can't fault communications at all. Downside if i had to find anything - it's the reliance of paper based wet signature on DD and Dec that then has to be posted to you Reviewed on: 26th January 2026
