Excellent customer service and easy to work with.

We’ve been with Mansfield BS for 6 years now, we’ve fixed our mortgage twice since we first took the mortgage (Shared Ownership product via a mortgage broker). The service each time has been excellent, the process was simple and we were given the info we needed. I’ve only needed to speak with them twice but both times the enquiry was dealt with quickly and by a real person. We’ve only changed as we’ve moved away from Shared Ownership and going through a mortgage broker they arranged a mortgage with someone else. No fault of Mansfield at all, only our needs changed. Expat living in Germany.

Reliable, but I would not use again

Whilst I have had no issue with the mortgage(s) with Mansfield, I always felt that I was not treated as a valued customer, and some requests seemed to me to be demands, as if I should be beholding to them. They also, do not go out of their way to offer alternative mortgages that may be beneficial to the customer, unless pushed to do so. Reviewed on: 24th March 2026

Online access to mortgage account
