Where is my cheque ?

Interest rate was comparable for my fixed 3 year savings but was not pleased when the maturity cheque arrived 6 days after the date ! The best time to sell again is when when the customer is pleased with your performance and prompt payment would have a better chance of securing this . Reviewed on: 7th March 2022

Excellent service

In branch opening account was extremely helpful. Not hassled with loads of unwanted promo info. Instructions on closing the account was clear and timely. Closed the account to buy my Mercedes otherwise I would have considered re-investing with the Mansfield. I want the option to have face to face service in a local branch. Reply from Mansfield Building Society Thank you for your feedback, I’m sorry to learn of your disappointment. Whilst the majority of our mortgage and savings rates are not linked to the Bank of England Base Rate we are currently reviewing our rates, conscious of the need to balance the interests of both our savings and mortgage members. Whilst I am unable to detail specific rate changes at this time I can confirm that we will be increasing rates with effect from 1st April - once full details of these changes are confirmed they will be communicated to all affected customers in line with the terms and conditions relating to their savings or mortgage account.
