Unfair charge for withdrawal.

I was given an option to close my account because of lowered interest rates. I opted to close it. Then found I had to pay £25 to have it transferred to my bank account, I thought this disgusting.I have to say Laura helped me to have my money by cheque very promptly. The account I opened was market-leading in 2023, but was then surpassed. Gradually I reduced the amount I had saved with the Mansfield. In the absence of other Mansfield accounts that were interesting to me, I decided to close my account. Reviewed on: 9th July 2025

Great customer focus

Visited the Branch and was given sound advice on opening new account prior to closing an older one. Leaflets also provided. Opened an account easily when I had done what I needed to do. Just friendly and helpful staff both in the Branch and when contacted by phone. Reviewed on: 4th July 2025
