Always friendly.

It's always been a happy experience dealing with Mansfield Building Society. They seem to have the friendliest and most helpful staff of any banking institution and they also provide phone numbers for their local branches. The only reason I have moved my custom is that I found better interest rates elsewhere. I wish it had not been the case but you have to follow the money! I'll certainly be back if I find future Mansfield rates to be comparable to others on the market. Reviewed on: 18th September 2023

Failure to adhere to basic instructions.

I gave clear, precise, accurate instructions to close the account requesting a BACS payment of closed funds to a High Street Bank. I provided all the necessary details. What happens ? A cheque is sent instead and now that takes 5 -6 days to clear. Failure to adhere to a simple straight forward request has now caused me a lot of inconvenience and loss of interest.
