Have not paid my claim but increased my premium

Once you claim you realise how poor this company is. I've had pet insurance with many ManyPets for 5 years and put a claim in for sickness and diarrhoea. We have been waiting 6 weeks - no update, no communication from ManyPets and then as we were due for renewal they increased our monthly payment to £16 a month. As we claimed for £389 they will get £192 back from the increase we have incurred in the premium (without still actually paying us the claim). I dread to think what would have happened if we had claimed for a more expensive illness (credit card bills plus a heftier increase in our premium most likely). Their claims line. is also only available Monday-Friday 9 am-5 pm - as a teacher this makes it impossible for me to ring them during the week and when I have tried at lunch I have been on hold too long to actually get through. I have also tried to use their online form to find out more about the claim progress and received automated responses. I rang on a Saturday to speak to their general customer services and said after 5 years I wanted to cancel my insurance due to the premium being increased and not being paid my claim and not even a question was asked, they just said ok and goodbye. No interest in loyal customers. I feel completely ripped off and having stayed with them for 5 years I feel sick by how much money I have paid to this company only for in the time I needed them for them to let me down. It wasn't a great deal of money I claimed compared to other conditions that cost thousands and yet the experience I have had tells me to avoid and go elsewhere. Reviewed on: 21st November 2022

Claiming is made so easy with their online platform. They have independently sought further info if required from my vets versus bothering me, the money is paid swiftly and I get an email informing me when it’s paid. Superb, seamless, effortless. Reviewed on: 3rd November 2022

We changed from Kennel Club pet insurance last year as they just got too expensive and even after never having a claim in 7 years they just kept putting the price up. Changed to Many Pets and insured 3 dogs for the price of two. Unfortunately we had to have a claim last month as one of our dogs ate something and it caused a blockage resulting in an operation.
