Easy to use, quick to pay out

We took up Bought By Many insurance after it being recommended repeatedly by others and they were right to do so as it is easy to set up, easy to use and claim and quick to pay out when our puppy had a foreign body in it's throat. Reviewed on: 16th September 2020

Prices

Even though I never claimed the prices kept going up and up each year in excess of 30% sometimes. They blamed the vets. Couldn't sustain a policy that costed £17 per month at the start and 3 years years on I was paying £42 per month and in that time I had only claimed once Reviewed on: 16th September 2021

Price hike

We were with bought by many for ages we had to make one small claim and they decided to more than double our premiums I would have totally accepted a small increase but to more than double it was ridiculous so unfortunately we left bought by many Reviewed on: 16th September 2021

Amazing service

I cannot fault Bought By Many. We have two dogs insured with them - one has been well and the other has needed quite a lot of vet care. Claims have always been paid within days. Annual renewal increases have been surprisingly low given the number of claims that we have made. A great improvement on our previous pet insurer. Reviewed on: 16th September 2021

Thoughtful, helpful, efficient

Having a dachshund that suddenly got IVDD was scary enough on it own as well as having to deal with the process of diagnosis, surgery, physio, hydro and months of recovery, BBM made life so stress free and paid every single invoice I uploaded within in 48 hours, they worked directly with our neurosurgeon and specialist vet and all of this meant I could concentrate fully on his recovery - we advise people strongly to use and even swap their insurance to BBM - literally in failtable - thank you so very much. No wonder their policies are bought by many

I have renewed my policy with this company for the past few years. I've always found them very easy to deal with and it's often only when you need to make a claim that you find out how good an insurance company is. I've made a couple of claims and recently I was extremely grateful to have the facility of speaking to an online vet when I was very worried about my Westie. I was given advice how to treat my dog's condition (anal abscess) until I could get an appointment first thing next day. I was able to make the claim online and thereafter Bought by Many dealt directly with my vets but kept me informed at relevant stages.
