Easy to Use, not the best Savings Rate

Setting up an account with Marcus is easy to do and thorough. Once a market leader Savings Account, Marcus no longer provides one of the best savings rates, which is a shame because the App is easy to use and the customer service is quick and friendly. Reviewed on: 20th January 2025

Easy to operate

Great bank

Easy to set up, access and use. Interest is also increased regularaly with increases in the base rate, which is better than most of the main banks. Reviewed on: 9th April 2023

Safe

Really good customer service

When you speak to Marcus. You instantly talk to a human being without going through a longautomated system. My savings account is simple and money is easy to transfer. The app is simple and the interest rate goes up much quicker than my other accounts. Above all the best customer service of all the banks I use. And have used on the past. Great Instant Access Savings Account

"It does what it says on the tin" - my only minor grouse is that I receive a website warning about scams when all I can do is transfer funds to my linked current account. I am advised by text and by e-mail everytime I make a withdrawal so I guess I am safe from an account hack. Reviewed on: 22nd March 2023

First Class Service - Other Banks Please Take Note!

I opened my A/C with Marcus 2-3 years ago and can honestly say I can't fault them. In these days where everything you touch becomes a problem due to staff incompetence, it makes a very pleasant change to find at last, an organisation where you don't have to spend hours on the phone wasting your time with idiots who either can't understand what you're saying or don't know how to do their job.
