Honest, helpful and pleasant

The advisor I spoke to at the Melton was very helpful and pleasant. She was clear and honest in the information she gave me and guided me through the decisions I needed to make. I felt she had a good grasp of my circumstances and what I needed in terms of mortgage requirements for the future. Telephone conversations and emails were followed up promptly with a summary of our discussions and the necessary documents. I felt confident in the information and advice I was given. Excellent Servicing Team

The communication from the servicing team throughout the term of my mortgage with melton building society was excellent, always thorough and clear. I was able to speak directly with members of the servicing team when needed and they always did everything they could to answer my questions and assist me. I would not hesitate to take a financial product from Melton Building Society again. Reviewed on: 29th March 2023

Friendly, helpful staff but products rather limited - no option for retirement interest only mortgage or acknowledgement that I could afford a mortgage with a lareg income. Why should my age be an issue on a 2-year fix? I accept regulations have to be abiided by and are government and FCA devised but I feel common sense should challenge this out moded thinking.
