Love the old school, friendly but informative, polite and helpul approach that I experienced in both the Bourne and Stamford branches when opening accounts. I have used the Melton for many years and my children had savings bonds from a young age. Even my son was impressed when opening an account for his son - straightforward and easy. Initially, I rang the Stamford branch to ensure the account I preferred was available. She confirmed it was and also told me about the 6.1% 2 year fix which I took advantage of too. Reviewed on: 30th August 2023
