I've never had a bank that's more interested in its customers more than money. The staff are well trained polite and friendly. I used to have Metro as my 2and account. I soon changed that. Their telephone operatives are just as polite and friendly as face to face staff. Everyone should have Metro as their main account Reviewed on: 6th March 2021

Friendly and reliable

Metro bank has very friendly staff across their banks. I have used the Slough branch and am now with HIGH WYCOMBE branch. It seem metro has invested and trained their staff to be super friendly. Metro is reliable as well and are always willing to help, they put people first. I might be wrong but I think that's the only bank you can make a withdrawal without an ID and a BANK CARD. That has helped me when I lost my wallet and was stranded. Reviewed on: 6th March 2021

Best. Bank. Ever.

I love, love, love Metro Bank. Bank hours that work for real people with jobs and lives (weekends! evenings!); a customer call centre where I've never waited more than 2 minutes to be connected to a human who was able to help me, each time, without putting me on hold or passing me on to someone else; the ability to pay in foreign cheques (my other two banks do not offer this service), good interest rates, excellent ISA packages, savings options for kids and can I mention how much I love the change machine, which is free to use for anyone even non account holders, unlike certain 8% charging CoinStar machines. Honesty, just the best bank. And no, I've never gushed positively about a bank before. Reviewed on: 6th March 2021

I never have any problems.

I have dealt with many banks over the years but since I have been with Metrobank I have not had any of the problems or annoying little rules that I have had with other Banks the worst of which are Santander and NatWest. Reviewed on: 6th March 2021
