No nonsense, straight forward banking

I am not a fan of doing everything online and prefer to sort out important things like banking face to face. Metro provided a no nonsense, straight forward account opening service on a Sunday. What more can I say. Even walked out with my debit card in my hand the same day. When ever, I have had an issue, visited seen quickly and problem sorted no, long waits to get through to call centres and tedious conversations. With other Banks branches shutting, they have a lot to learn from Metro and I recommend to all my friends and family. Reviewed on: 11th March 2023

Two weeks ago, my current account was blocked because I made international transactions. I walked into Metro bank in Croydon and the workers were very friendly. I explained to them what happened to my account and told them that I wanted it unblocked. I was told to wait a few minutes. They directed me to an individual who helped me solve the problem and my account was unblocked in less than a minute. Reviewed on: 11th March 2023

Metro is a great bank to bank with, I especially love it when I can use my card all over Europe with no additional fees. The online banking app is very easy and straightforward to use, I haven’t had any issues with the app or the bank itself. Which is why I tell my family members to get it too.
