Honest banking platform with many travel options

I have previously and still am a Barclays bank customer, however I switched primarily to MetroBank and the level of customer response, the effectiveness and ease of payments, and the 0% fees for Euro conversions, makes MetroBank a serious contender for the best bank in Britain. All banks use fractional reserve so we will all eat it if anything hits the fan, but no bank will be spared and for your daily needs, Metrobank will more than suffice. Reviewed on: 26th March 2021

Never worry about charges for not enough funds available for a payment....

The thing I like most about a Metro Bank current account is that if a payment falls due when funds are low you get a notification telling you and giving you the chance to top up the account by 2pm when the payment will be attempted again; therefore avoiding any charges. I have never known any other bank in the UK to do this. I have recommended Metro to family and friends. Setting up standing orders and other payments is very easy to do. Reviewed on: 26th March 2021
