I have been a member for many years now, and have never had an issue! Customer service are always lovely, and get back to me quicker than I would expect, resolving issues I may have efficiently. Couldn’t ask for anything more from a bank. Reviewed on: 19th March 2026

I'd recommend Mettle without hesitation.

As a small business (of 1!), I wanted banking that was easy, inexpensive, and integrated with accountancy software. Mettle ticks all of these boxes. Customer services have been quick to deal with any issues encountered, I don't pay monthly or annual fees for the account, issue my invoices through the app, and have tax/VAT money move directly into a savings pot to accrue interest every time an invoice is paid. Slick app and great value

Great value for money. Interface is really slick. Really like the function that allows you to auto-divert a percentage of all revenue into corp tax and vat pots. Free Agent also a massive bonus. Reviewed on: 19th March 2026

It is a no frills offering which is what I require.

It is a no frills offering which is what I require. The only small grumble is Mettle doesn’t accept/make Swift payments which was a bit surprising given it is part of NatWest. Reviewed on: 19th March 2026

Email-only support was surprisingly Good!

When my debit card was cloned, Mettle sorted it incredibly quickly and had a new one with me in no time. I was worried that having to handle everything by email (with no phone option) would drag things out, but I was genuinely impressed by how smooth and efficient the whole process was.
