The application process was quick and easy, the app is quick, easy to use, and clear, and the link with Freeagent has helped me understand my business. Unless you need borrowing or traditional banking services (cash and cheques) then I thoroughly recommend Reviewed on: 19th March 2026

The best business bank that I’ve worked with

I moved my business banking to Mettle a couple of years ago and have been delighted with them. As a sole trader, to have fee-free business banking that also gives me free access to an excellent accounting software package as a perk has been incredible, plus the app is really easy to use and I love having the ability to arrange my money into pots too, it makes things so much easier to manage! Amazing Bank wouldn’t use anyone else!

Mettle have been an amazing bank for my business, I’ve never had any major issues and if I’ve ever had a question the team are available at all times on live chat and have always given me reassurance or advice. Mettle make it easy to upload your receipts so it’s less paperwork kept within the business. Reviewed on: 19th March 2026

Setting up and using Mettle is a breeze, it's got all the features I require for my business and links directly to the freeagent accounts package which makes self assessment a breeze.
