Fantastic business banking alternative for soloprenuers

I began using mettle as a free alternative when starting up my business. I didn't know whether my business would be a success, so having a usable, free platform instead of paying extortionate fees for other business accounts was a life-saver! Because of how well the app works, and their great customer support team, who are instantly accessible, meant that I was happy to keep using Mettle and have gone on to advocate it to my network of peers. I love using mettle for my business, it is so easy to create pots, setup direct debits and add receipts to your purchases. My bookkeeping/accounting has never been so easy. the layout of the app is also so easy to use and very aesthetically pleasing. I can’t recommend it enough. Reviewed on: 18th March 2025

I opened a Mettle account when I started my freelance business. It’s perfect for what I need. I love the fact you can create a pot so that the tax comes directly out of your invoice payments and also being able to invoice through the app, helps me keep track of hours spent and who to invoice, Reviewed on: 18th March 2025

Mettle has been great for my business. It's easy to use, and customer service has been great on the few times I have had to use it. Have used Mettle for years - highly recommend

I've used Mettle online banking for several years now and cannot fault the excellent customer service. There is always someone online (who doesn't appear to be a bot / AI) to help with queries at any given time. Plenty of warning is also given when updates to the service need to happen. The interface is good and easy to navigate and both the desktop and app are equally easy to use. The only negative is when had to switch bank accounts with Mettle, which meant all my clients address details had to be inputted again which was incredibly time consuming and tedious. If there was a way that client details could have been stored that would have saved hours of work. However, overall, I'd definitely recommend; the service, quality of product and how informative Mettle are is outstanding. Reviewed on: 18th March 2025
