Recommend Mettle to all sole traders!

Setting myself up as a sole trader wasa confusing process to really understand details about tax, VAT and IR35. The service includes articles and tools that give you everything you need to keep on track and up to date with everything you need to do.The app itself is great to make sure you know exactly what's happening with your earnings, how much tax you have paid etc. Reviewed on: 9th May 2025

Very simple and easy to navigate

Have had no issues so far, easy to use and very helpful being able to save all your receipts alongside the payment made. Which has really made it easy for me especially as someone who is first time business owner and is learning the ropes as I go along. Reviewed on: 4th May 2025

I opened an account with Mettle when I started my business just four years ago. I have found them to be efficient, helpful and I love the app, it is easy to create 'pots' for tax and other saving goals and generally easy and accessible to use, the chat function is also particularly useful. I would be hard pushed to use another bank. Reviewed on: 1st May 2025

I find having this account as a new business has been really useful, I can split my money into pots to help me manage where my money is going, and use the app to keep track of all incoming and outgoings. Reviewed on: 25th April 2025

I moved to Mettle after having another e-money account, and it really couldn't be any easier to use! It is simple and easy to transact - and there is even a savings pot feature, there is no nonsense and the freeagent connection means our accounts are done quickly and easily!
