You are not alone with mettle! I have been with mettle since they first started and was advised to change to the latest version so that I would recieve better interest in my savings.i really like the saving pots which allows me to put money aside for tax etc. If you are a new buisness I can’t recommend mettle enough, they are always there for any problems or advice, and it is a real person that contacts you. Great customer service…always there to help with advice and guidance…the only issue I’ve had recently is the fact that I wasn’t able to withdraw cash from the post office…this would be so convenient for me if I could, as my bank is further away…I did report this but no response as yet. All in all is a really good bank and the app is easy to navigate and use and of course it’s free banking as I’m a sole trader it’s so beneficial. Reviewed on: 18th March 2025

Best account for small businesses

I was recommended this bank account through my accountant. Specifically tailored for small businesses, free-no monthly fees and also came with FreeAgent app free of charge where I can make my invoices, store my client details and log all my expenses. My accountant can also view all of this via the FreeAgent dashboard to do my tax returns. Simple to use and I’m so glad I was told about it, couldn’t have asked for anything more.
