Easy and effective business banking

I picked Mettle when I started my business, the app is excellent and simple to use. I was also attracted to the free banking and the free agent software. It’s really simple to raise invoices, download my transactions for my account and I love the function to match my payments to my invoices and the reminders that come up when they haven’t been paid. When I’ve had queries or needed help they have been answered quickly on the app. The only downside I’ve found which I hope will be sorted out in the future is the inability to accept overseas payments. Some of my clients live overseas and want to pay in other currencies and I have had to find a work around for this. If this could be included in the future it would allow me to manage everything easily in one place. Reviewed on: 18th March 2025

Mettle is excellent as it helps to categorise the transactions that come in my account which is helpful since I run a small business. There is also a pot feature which helps me to put money away for taxes which ultimately helps me because when the time comes to give tax I have the money ready and I don’t need to be worried. The customer service is also great! When I first started up I spelt the name of my business wrong on the card so I contacted customer service to have this fixed and they instantly replied and got a new card delivered to me with the right business name within a couple of days. The only improvement I would suggest to Mettle is to allow people to have more than one business account with them so you would have two cards for two businesses but in the app it would let you to switch between the two accounts - to me I think this will boost Mettlemore! Simply wonderful with real humans at the other end. Flawless app and constantly evolving the services they offer. The money pots and automatic transfer on payment is wonderful. I was also a victim of fraud which was devastating, the team at the other end were always sympathetic and replied very quickly. They were able to refund me all of the money stolen which was a huge relief after dealing with a family loss. Thank you without end. Reviewed on: 18th March 2025
