A easy to use and set up account.

A easy to use and set up account. A good balance of features that are great for freelancers. The limitation of no IBAN makes it difficult to use for software developers who need it for integration with the big app stores, but if your business is physical or services, it’s perfect. The mix of features including discounts on FreeAgent is excellent for ensuring you comply with Making Tax Digital. Reviewed on: 18th March 2025

As a newly self-employed Personal Trainer & Studio owner, Mettle has made my banking so much easier I love the system in place that you can allocate money into different pots and it has come in extremely helpful with keeping track of my outgoings like rent, energy costs and equipment hire.
