My experience of using Mettle

I have been using Mettle for a few years now, since I started my own business. I feel that it is a really good account , that caters for my needs of having Dyspraxia, Dyslexia and Autism, I am able to navigate the app well as using the web to access my account. I find the putting my Monet through the post office using the bar code that the app creates very helpful and the use of free-agent through mettle helps me to fill out my tax return. I like all the features on the app and on the web, And most of all the Mettle team are always there to give me guidance and support when I have any queries, I don't have to wait long to get a response from the online facilities. I would say that I get above first class service, and I would like to thank everyone at Mettle for their hard work. Reviewed on: 18th March 2025

I’ve been using Mettle for my business banking, and it has truly transformed the way I manage my finances. The intuitive layout makes navigation effortless, and the ability to create separate pots for budgeting has been a game-changer, allowing me to organise my finances with ease. One of the standout features for me is how seamlessly Mettle integrates with Xero, ensuring everything stays digital and categorised correctly. The ability to generate and send statements directly to my accountant saves me a huge amount of time and hassle, streamlining my financial management. Another highlight is the Letter of Authority for my pension—I was able to access it quickly and efficiently, with everything readily available when needed. This level of accessibility and organisation is invaluable for running a smooth and professional business. Overall, Mettle provides an exceptional banking experience, offering both convenience and efficiency. Easy and effective business banking

I picked Mettle when I started my business, the app is excellent and simple to use. I was also attracted to the free banking and the free agent software. It’s really simple to raise invoices, download my transactions for my account and I love the function to match my payments to my invoices and the reminders that come up when they haven’t been paid. When I’ve had queries or needed help they have been answered quickly on the app. The only downside I’ve found which I hope will be sorted out in the future is the inability to accept overseas payments. Some of my clients live overseas and want to pay in other currencies and I have had to find a work around for this. If this could be included in the future it would allow me to manage everything easily in one place. Reviewed on: 18th March 2025

Mettle is excellent as it helps to categorise the transactions that come in my account which is helpful since I run a small business. There is also a pot feature which helps me to put money away for taxes which ultimately helps me because when the time comes to give tax I have the money ready and I don’t need to be worried. The customer service is also great! When I first started up I spelt the name of my business wrong on the card so I contacted customer service to have this fixed and they instantly replied and got a new card delivered to me with the right business name within a couple of days. The only improvement I would suggest to Mettle is to allow people to have more than one business account with them so you would have two cards for two businesses but in the app it would let you to switch between the two accounts - to me I think this will boost Mettlemore! Simply wonderful with real humans at the other end. Flawless app and constantly evolving the services they offer. The money pots and automatic transfer on payment is wonderful. I was also a victim of fraud which was devastating, the team at the other end were always sympathetic and replied very quickly. They were able to refund me all of the money stolen which was a huge relief after dealing with a family loss. Thank you without end. Reviewed on: 18th March 2025
