Simple to setup & keep track of cash flows

Simple to setup, keep track of cash flows and integrate with apps like FreeAgent, would definitely recommend for small business owners due to low costs and ease use. Only drawback is that payments are limited to be from UK only, but this is rarely an issue for my circumstances. Reviewed on: 25th March 2026

I couldn't manage without Mettle

As a sole trader, using Mettle has made managing my accounts so straightforward and easy. I've been able to manage my own self assessment tax returns without paying someone else to do it because the Mettle app helps me to tag transactions, automatically save into a tax pot as I go along and enables me to keep records of receipts.
