A simple-to-use essential for a self-employed newbie.

Easy to set up as a newly self-employed person. Pots make setting aside tax and savings foolproof. Invoicing is simple and makes it easy to keep track. Access to info via the chat gives reassuring backup, although rarely needed as the system is clear and easy to operate. Reviewed on: 25th March 2026

I am a sole trader who likes to focus on my practice rather than worry about managing finances. Finances are not one of my strengths, I often experience dealing with financial administration stressful. METTLE is simple to use, has the numbers clearly displayed and has broken down inputs and outputs in a way that feels user friendly and helpful.
