I love Mettle for my business. It is very simple to use and has all the basic functionalities you would expect (suggested categorisation, an attach as many receipt as needed, multiple pots available to save or ring-fence budgets). It is available as a mobile app and as a web application and feeds nicely into bookkeeping software avoiding duplication of entry. Reviewed on: 24th March 2026

Accountant recommended!

My accountant recommended mettle to me. It has been great as a self employed electrician. Notifications when you get paid, and an option to automatically set money aside for tax. The free agent software that is available is perfect for helping with tax returns too. Reviewed on: 24th March 2026
