I've had my 3 accounts (£, € and RON ) for about 6 years now. They are easy to manage from the same app and very useful for people that travel. You can move money instantly between the accounts with pretty good exchange rates. Reviewed on: 20th March 2024

Total and Utter Scammers and I can't understand how this is even allowed after reading other peoples reviews. I have had my account blocked for receiving a £1000 and not having access to the funds before the £1000 pounds payment came in. Easy and quick

Only downside I have found is that it costs £5 to get a debit card. But if you use the promo code YRQTF2PP when signing up, you get £5 into your account when you first deposit £10 to it. But Monese does not require proof of address like all other uk banks, so opening up a bank account with Monese have been incredibly easy. Also, transferring money from my other non-UK bank account via the instant visa top up has been really quick and has saved me quite a lot of money in transaction fees. Reviewed on: 23rd July 2018

I opened the account 6 months ago also reading on another review site (I do not name but understand what it is) all good reviews. SCAM ALL SCAM !! in my opinion they are fake. read this fake review and I trust .. until I had on the 500 euro bill all right as soon as I received an amount of 10,000 euros they freeze account. they ask for documents I give them. they ask for other documents I provide them. in short, all that they ask! then they disappear. I write emails monese nothing answer they disappear. I feel bad .. I'm physically sick. I do not know how to tell my wife that I got 10,000 euros cheated. I feel sick . then after 10 days they write to me that they want to close the account . I write email okay give me my money back. all money that I have! these scammers tell me that I have to wait at least 40 days before I can get my money back. I tremble. I despair, I do not know how to tell everything to my wife. these damn thieves do not want to give me back the money I start thinking. I start research online and I find review of monese and I get an accident .. many many cases maybe hundreds of cases like me. all robbed by MONESE .. almost faint, I get stomach cramps and I wonder me how can you allow FCA all this ? how did these thieves get FCA clearance? why does not FCA intervene? Is FCA useful? I'm sick very bad. DO NOT GIVE A PENNY TO THIEVES MONESE WHO DO NOT WANT TO DO MY END WITHOUT MONEY FOR ME AND MY FAMILY a desperate .... Reviewed on: 18th July 2018

they blocked my account more 45 days and they disappeared they do not respond to emails and even if I did report on other review services they can remove the review. an abuse. we have been scammed by these scoundrels and we can not do anything I have no more money to live ... DO NOT give MONEY to these scammers you will lose everything like me. here is the only place where you can read the truth review on other review services review they seem good and honest. they are all fuck .. here we read the truth .. WRITE THIS!! HOW MANY DAYS ?? Someone else here wrote it and it's true. they are thieves.MONESE have stolen my money for over 75 days now they do not give them back. I have already made a complaint on FCA also saying to read that we are now hundreds of cases maybe thousands of people cheated and robbed by MONESE. FCA replied that they are under investigation and I hope they take away their license to NOT repeat again. We are in a forum of saving to do a class action against these liars scammers They promised me so many times to give me back money but do not do it .. THIEF !! give back the money that is not yours. REMOVE YOUR MONEY BY MONESE UNTIL YOU CAN !!!!! REMOVE ALL!! DO NOT BE LIKE US THAT WE HAVE LOST EVERYTHING. THOUSANDS OF STOLEN PEOPLE ON THE WEB MONESE have subtracted AND STOLEN over 7000 euros . Now it's been months since they stuck my money and they do not give it back anymore ... thieves !! give me back my savings !! do not give a penny to these thieves .. sooner or later if you keep them your money by calling laws and terms conditions that do not say that they will block you and steal your savings. do not you see how many people have been ruined by these scammers? do not you see that they use copy paste to answer? they told me that they gave them back a month and instead these thieves are keeping my savings. you have to do a class action against these scammers who steal our money. take away the license that these gentlemen have.. FCA WHERE IS ?? FCA you must protect citizens from scams.
