Moneybox offer a range of savings accounts.

The Moneybox Simple Saver account can be opened with £1 and you can make withdrawals with one day notice. Moneybox also offer a 32-day notice or 95-day notice account. You can deposit up to £85,000 in any of the Moneybox savings accounts and there’s no account fees or charges.

Quick and easy to use

I downloaded the moneybox app, selected 2 accounts I was interested in loaded my details, linked my bank and transferred money across. Was very straightforward and quick to do. Reviewed on: 28th January 2025

I love the Moneybox app.

I love the Moneybox app. My younger brother told me about it and I have used a lot of their products to build my savings and investment portfolios. I will likely get a personal pension fund going soon too. So easy to use and weekly savings and options to add a one-off boost helped give me more emergency savings and overall investment. Overall great app, but has some annoying quirks

Overall MoneyBox is a really good app, and has good rates on fixed products. I'm not an expert investor, but I did reasonably well on the investment side too based on their recommendations. But sadly you can't close their accounts. This means that you'll never get any new bonus rates. The interest earned doesn't scale when you make withdrawals, so it looks like you've made 200% on £0. I've asked customer support several times if there's any way to fix these issues, but it's a no. You have to fully leave all their accounts before they can delete you, and you can start with a clean slate. Though you account number is your NI number, so it's not clear if I will be able to rejoin. I don't know if that works with GDPR. I've never had a bank (or other service) where you can't close your account... Reviewed on: 4th September 2024

Great way to reach saving goals

Moneybox is a great way to start your savings journey. There are helpful tools such as weekly deposits and payment round-ups which helps you to achieve your short-term and long-term goals without realising. It’s easy to access your account and withdraw your money, limited to one withdrawal per month which helps towards your saving goals too. For the first time I have been able to save, money.

For the first time I have been able to save, money always burnt a hole in my pockets. By linking MoneyBox to my bank account and rounding up my purchases, I managed to save and it was a painless process. Reviewed on: 25th May 2024
